gizmoproject try
I tried gizmoproject today. I tried both computer to computer (in different countries) and computer to phone (you get 25c for free when joining). I like it better than skype for the following reasons:
- it supports Jabber - so with transports you can IP to MSN/ICQ/whatever. Yes, grab jabber client and login to chat.gizmoproject.com and register to your favorite transports!
- Quality is a little better IMHO. It’s a SUBJECTIVE test
- It’s cheaper
- On Linux (i never checked windows version) in skype there’s no simple way to view phone number behind contact name. Damn!
- The client on linux is not behind as it is in skype
